Are There Any TVR Supercar Driver Members here?

I've been out on a few runs with them last year before the membership came in, and they were very good - well organised, good mix of cars and people, and some nice places to eat on the routes. I've seen the magazine they put out at the end of last year and heard some good plans for this year. And a lot of the runs are fairly local to me as well.

The only reason I've not signed up yet myself is due to mine being off the road since the end of September, but for the price of half a tank of V power I'll give it a go for a year.

Dave i went out with them a few times last year and enjoyed it, they normally set off quite early from Tesco's on Eccy Road.

Really good club with some very nice cars and people. Superb visits to interesting places and exciting plans for this year...Cheshire meet up Mottram Hall or Lambo Manchester usually, Preston sub-branch kicked off backend of last year.

Trying to keep the riff raff out though (I know that will wind you up Dave )

You get invited to launch events like this ...

I`ve wondered about these guys myself, but will have to find out what evens they have down south, most seem to be oop north

I have been to a few things with them and they've been ok.
I dont have the time to hang out at weekend meets and so will not be paying the £40 albeit many of the events and meets are close to my home so I will probably gate crash the odd meet.

Joined them for a couple of runs out - there is a good variety of metal on the runs / meets, from lightweight Caterhams / kit cars / Elise right through to full fat supercars like Fezza's Lambo's etc, with everything in between (Mustangs, classic BMWs, tons of Porches, Lotii Exige Esprit etc, Audi RS and R8, Astons etc).

Not been on any of the "events" to photoshoots or launches yet due to time commitments

The runs out are OK - good bunch of people to meet and have a chat with, though I'm not convinced that I'm ready to part with £40 for the privilage of attending a few rund out when I have time.

I'm sure that being local - might well gatecrash a few tho' ...

I've only been on a couple of events but no runs as work seems to spoil that for me. My car is featured in the first Supercar Driver mag which was pricey but very well put together especially as it was their first attempt. I am also featured in the Photoshoot video which was a great morning.
They all seem a great bunch of guys and gals and all seem to chat even if you do turn up in on of the cheaper (but more superior) cars , it is very well run and organised and with such a great passion for cars too, just wish I had more time to spare.
