Roof colour - opinion

Hi,

I need an opinion. I have a blue Chimaera. The roof is not perfect so I plan to replace it. I have an option to put a white roof that has some sort of a "leather" finish.

I need your opinion - what do you think of a dark blue chimaera with a white roof and a white stripe...also I am think to make the rims in chrome finish (I would probably use the 3M film)?

I have a blue roof on a blue car. I looks great but next time I will put on a black roof because it easier to match black should I ever damage the panel or want a surrey roof.

Do you live in Cheshire? If so go for it! You can do a fake tan at the same time.

Seriously though IMO you would probably limit the value of the car because you will limit its appeal, as said above it will be hard to match if damaged, and if you want a colour other than black surely dark blue would look more classy

If you're going to do that to a Chim, you might as well keep the existing roof and coat it with white gloss paint.

It's harder to sell a non factory standard car, keep it factory, as they should be.
