Phoenix Park Races

I just want to put the feelers out on this one,

Phoenix Park in Dublin City is one of the largest walled city parks in the world,twice the size of New York's Central Park at 1750 acres.
107 years ago,the first road races were held here with the Gordon Bennett Race Speed Trials,in 1929 the first Irish International Grand Prix was held and road racing has been held here ever since.The Tvr owners of Ireland have been fortunate to have paricipated in various gentlemans parade "races" here to much enjoyment both for us and the crowds.
The next race weekend is provisionally planned for two years time at its regular spot in August.
The TVR owners of Ireland would cordially invite all TVR owners to come and spend a weekend in Dublin,enjoying two days of Free racing along with the shopping and nightlife that the capital offers.The Ferry companies and selected hotels would be approached for advantageous rates.
It is hoped that we could turn the event into a charity fundraiser as well as having a masssive collection of TVR's in one of Europes prettiest locations.
I know this is 2 years away but would this be of interest ?

Thanks for the heads up on this. Will definitely start a slush fund to attend this one. I love Dublin, the park is awesome and the Guinness is spot on.....what's not to like?

Mark, as i attended the last meeting, i can say it is a great day out,entry into the paddock area and a blast, 6 laps if i remember, around the track was great fun.

I'd be interested in this.

I've met Gerry a couple of times when I've been over visiting Cork to see family.
I'd tie in a visit on this occaision too.

Would you be approaching Fastnet Line (Swansea/Cork)?
