Acid Dipping

My son is looking to acid dip his S's chassis, but doesn't know anywhere that does it. He's tried finding places on Google, but with few results. Does anyone know anywhere around the Yorkshire area that could dip his chassis?

I know a place in Lincolnshire that is very very good, had some amazing results with some of my vehicles.

I think the issue with getting a chassis done is that you need to drill 2-3 holes next to each chassis weld,to let the acid out. these then need plugging after you can also get issues if not all the acid is removed. i.e. paint doenst stick.

it is a good way of getting rid of all rust and paint ect though.

Would a normal sand blast etc not do?

Thankyou, I think he's weighing up the shotblasting option now. Does anyone know anywhere good near York? He has to get it collected and dropped back off, as he doesn't have access to a trailer.

And Gazzab, yes, my son is Nick, and his car is coming along slowly, but surely. I'm just looking forward to having mine back!
