Specialist in the North East?

I was talking to a mechanic friend the other day and he said that he'd heard that there was a TVR specialist somewhere in the Durham/Consett area, anyone know who it might be? I hadn't heard of anyone there myself and a quick google left me none the wiser.

I haven't been over to Hexham Horseless Carriages but was aware of them. Looks like this Durham/Consett specialist is proving to be elusive, or a wild goose chase.

In NorthEast geographical terms, Hexham is pretty close to Durham. Great drive over there too!

Cheers for the replies, just to clear up though, I'm from Gateshead so know the geography and I'm not looking for a specialist to have any work done in particular, just that I'd heard there may be a newish one close by and fancied a neb!

HHC are the boys in the North East with all things TVR including the older models. Tony and his team certainly know their stuff and are looking after my Tuscan at the moment which has an ECU fault.

There are two companies in the Consett / Durham area who I know have done TVR's. I took my old Chimaera to McDonnald Racing in Lanchester and they did a competant job of servicing it a few years ago. They are the official Morgan dealer so would have a reasonable idea of TVR quirks. There is also an independant Aston Martin garage in Consett who have done some servicing for other North East TVRCC members but i can't find their name (it's not The Aston Workshop near Beamish who are top notch aston specialists btw!).

Hope the above is some help, but if it's TVR specific you're best of speaking with HHC first.
