Best way to get old Leven glue off window switches?

As mentioned in the title - I have taken the Leven cover off both electric window switches and have now revealed the original switch complete with tiny LED light. Having taken both covers off, this has left dried glue on the switch - keen to tidy them up and get theswitches back to their original state - ie looking for the best way to remove the Leven glue off the switch any ideas on what to use? Thanks!
