Eibach springs - £300 fitted & aligned

Just seen AMD's offer on Detailing World - £300 fitted for Eibachs including 4 wheel laser alignment.

Seems a pretty good price to me.

It's the dampers that make the real difference though.

Is it a good price, roughly £150 for springs and same for the alignment?!

All modern TVRs (Griff onwards) are fitted with Eibach springs from the factory, so unless your springs are broke doesn't seem worth it.

Springs relate to stiffness (K) which is a function of displacement
Shock Absorbers/Dampers relate to Damping (D) which is a function of velocity squared

Sounds about right to me. Eibachs are an option with aftermarket shocks and i have paid around £30 ea for Iebach springs, so that leave £180 for fitting and alignment (I'd ask for corner weighting to be included in that, then its a good deal

I need some heavier rear springs mine bottom out on fast dips, standard new gaz nickles and the ride hight has been set nice and high for touring. Gaz dont belive me that they do it played with the damping makes no diffrence even with a empty light car. The cars geo was set up so does any one else have this issue it only does it on fast dips on back roads but is very annoying when pushing on.
