Speed 12

Hey people,

I have only ever seen one speed 12, it was at the festival of speed in 2000. It looked terribly made. There were huge panel gaps and really didn't look like an expensive hypercar.

I am aware of the insane performance and rarity. It seems to be a highly desirable car now.

Does anyone know how many are still alive and how much they go for?

How many were built?

Have any sold lately?

Are there any for sale?

There is no link, but I believe that the guy wants over £200k for it. And fit and finish aren't priorities I wouldn't think. Its essentially a Le Mans car with a numberplate...!

Just move around £250k into your current account and give the owner a call to arrange transfer and pick up at your convenience. Regarding the latter, I would haggle to get the trailer included in the sale if you don't want to push it or there are any left hand corners on the way home.

I'm sure it will. It is not legal to breakdown on the Queen's highway without being properly taxed.

Seriously, it is an awesome car and a great icon for Tiv but it's a bit of manky dog's bk that TVR gave up on and someone decided they would take the project on privately.

Not that I'm aware of. In fact I very much suspect it's in the best condition that it's ever been in.

It's a great icon but I'm not sure it has ever worked as a car, in any remotely sensible way. Other people know infinitely more but if you want to buy it just call the guy up and make him an offer.
