Cerbera Chin Spoiler

Afternoon all
I have seen these advertised in the classified, which seem fairly priced and of good quality. Would one of these fit my Chimeara. Not got one on mine and don't think it ever has. If it helps reduce bonnet lift I will buy one.

No link so cant see "what it is" but I have fitted one to my Cerb three times to date and ripped it off three times?? When you only have 4 1/2" of clearance and put another half inch or so to the bottom it just does not last long? But it does work very well stops all the wind buffeting I actually drove sixty miles at warp speed with the bonnet catch undone and it stayed flat (not on purpose found it later) It really needs a nice plastic one so it can take a knock and just bend without ripping if off or bending it as mice did. So presently dont have one but its on the drawing board again??

I've had one on the front of my Chim for about a month now, and I've noticed a few significant differences - mainly the NS corner of the bonnet only vibrates, rather than flaps around, but also the front of the car is a lot more planted, and at a recent track event there was noticeabley less understeer feel.

It does seem to reduce the temperatures under the bonnet a touch as well, but this was something I didnt really have a problem with anyway.

Have done some testing having had a cerb for 5 yrs and taking it to over 180 mph felt scary but does help in bonnet lift , and cooling you can call me on 07831670753 re splitters, afm heat shields, and air filter boxes which i make and supply to A.C.T PAUL

Im no expert on this, but I have looked into these for my Cobra and all the reports I read and the theory behind it seems to point to that a spoiler at the front behind the bumper line lifts the front up at speed. Yes it may prodice less pressure in the engine so the bonnet doesnt try to lift, but the lift cant be good?
A splitter creates downforce only if its parallel to the road.

Anyone have any comments on this,

If it's fitted in the right place (at the rear of the nose section on a Griff) it creates a low pressure area which draws the air out of the engine bay reducing lift!

Hmmmm - bumpy Welsh roads and grass verge took mine off this afternoon

I picked it up, and besides a small thumbnail sized chunk missing from a corner, it's OK. Out with the sikaflex and a few more self tappers!
