Worn drivers seat bolster

My 2001 Chim drivers seat bolster was badly marked when I bought it, and had been consideringgetting D&C trim to recover both seats in leather. The car is half leather andI think only the seat bottom is proper perforated leather and the rest Ambala (or similar).
Happened to be a X_works and a chap was there "respraying" the seats of a Cerbera, I was so impressed I thought I'd give it a go on the Chim. These are the before and after photos:-

At £60 , even if it wears off after 12-18 months, I think its worth it .The firm I used was CALIX (Darren Ball) based in Blackpool.

Thats really impressive for £60, Did he have to remove the seat to repair the bolster or not.

He did it in-situ in my garage, took about an hour and half, so including his travelling time, I thought very reasonable.

I have a really similar problem with my drivers seat bolster.

How exactly did a spray repair work?

Anyone know of a place in/ near Surrey for this?

He cleaned all the laquer/colouring off, then resprayed with like an airbrush gun, having matched the colour. Even left me a small pot of "leather touch up paint" if I needed to touch anywhere else up.
