Had a TVR playday

Well, after much deliberation I actually got my backside down to Racing green and Fernhurst TVR today.
Got my heart set on a Sag but doing so would eat up most of my budget, so started my day with Chris from RG and looked at various options, I think Chris'll have his work cut out getting a car for me as my wish list spec is somewhat limiting. But he found time to take me out for a spin in a Tuscan 2 S, I say spin as that's what the rears were doing for the majority of the drive! Nontheless, it was fun and certainly left me with a smile, thanks Chris.
The suprise of my day however, was the visit to Fernhurst and Simon letting me have a go in the 4.5 Cerb! I only asked to go out just to see what they are like as I'm ideally after one of the 2 seater coupes. Well, I can honestly say I was blown away! Love the noise, the shape and the interior was stunning. For a ten year old car, the dash leather looked new. I can honestly say, if I had gone there with the cash, I would have made an impulse purchase, which shook me a bit as I really did have my sights set on a Sag and the two couldn't be more different. Big thanks to Simon at Fernhurst for his afternoon too.
So this leaves me in a quandry now, 2 seater and keep looking for a Sag or change tact and look for a nice Cerb and spend half my budget?!

This guy owns (owned?) the one you test drove.
He had it for a couple of weeks only before being forced into getting rid, previously had a tuscan that he had to return to Fernies due to an oil filling at service issue....
