Temperature overide switch for Cerb SP6

Hi guys,

Just thinking about this as I was in traffic the other day and was watching the temp creep up to 90deg+ then cool down again etc and I seem to remember someone saying they had a manual overide switch fitted that allowed the fans to come on earlier to help with cooling.
Does anyone have this,
Is it an easy fix i:e DIY?
how much from a specialist?

Can't phone around today as at work but would be usefull to have some idea before I get on the blower.

I put one of these on my Chimaera as when in traffic the temp went up quick and stopped there. In the Cerbera SP6 the temp goes up to 95 but always comes down and in the 9 and half years of owning my Cerb I have never had a problem with temp in traffic, I would say they are pretty good without having an switch to bring on the fans.

Yea I can't say i,ve had any trouble with the SP6 not cooling once the temperature reaches 95, it does activate the fans and the temperature decreases, Maybe I should just leave it alone after all it does work, it's not like it's overheating. I could keep my cash for more important issue's that may arise..I was just curious as it sounded like a handy mod.

Those are it's normal operating temperatures, so why would you want to meddle with it?
