...you have a blackpool bucket of rust that drinks petrol like a plane...mini size wheels....well i get 32mpg i think you get erm 16?....oh and I'm .4 of sec faster to 100 (where it counts sweetie)....mines limited to 155 and yours is 160 MAX!
This is the rambling of my friend Gel is drives a...wait for it
a 1.8 TT SUPERCHARGED! In a sec I will point the hairdresser in this direction but whilst i get him ready to pop over to the Pistonheads pub can you please explain to him why my Chim is faster than his 1.8 Audi
Hmm, don't know the stats for the 1.8 (the asthmatic one) but certainly the 2.5 one is pretty quick.
Personally, I wouldn't get hung up about it. There's plenty of bland soleless euro-shitboxes kicking around that will probably eat a Chim for lunch. But at the end of the day, they're just bland mass-produced tripe bought by people with no imagination.
Anyhoo, take him out in the Chim and frighten him shitless!!. Mind you if he did the same in the TT you'd be sea sick.

the stereotype TT owner then with vast knowledge on car related matters. Like what a TVR body is made from.
Think its because they have never actually got close enough to see.I take it a TT is one of those irritating little silver dots you get on the rear view mirror.
If you hear the engine, remark how it sounds like a sewing machine or a washing machine (or maybe a knitting machine) ? Or should that be a hair-dryer ?!?
Amazing design idea - mounting the engine in front of the front wheels. Tech-bock-wurst-von-bollox as the saying goes. But then make it four wheel drive to compensate for it being a fundamentally bad design (VW Golf). This then makes it nice and overweight which gives naff acceleration.
Something I have always had a problem with the looks is working out which end is supposed to be the front....

LMAO.. I'm the TT culpit.. and I challenge any of you corsa/saxo max power masturbating losers that my very very quick (highly tuned hair dryer, golf like dark blue TT) will thrash any of your poxy cars round brands... any one in fancy a track day?
April 12th I will be there and they are timing laps..
Gel
Ps - TVR's not a bucket of rust just a bucket, do appologise for the rust comment.

Ha ha, that's hilarious! Being the owner of a Chimaera 400 and having a best friend who drives an 225bhp TT I can say for certain this is b0ll0cks. The guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
Oh, and I've spanked a few TTs not driven by people I know too - if he knew anything about cars he would just look at the torque-to-weight and power-to-weight ratios and know he's talking sh
te. He's either winding you up and you've fallen for it big-time or he's an ignorant moron.
Of course, in the wet, it might be a bit closer up to about 60mph...
