I love Moggy Minors. My Tuscan has a Moggy's old reg number. Great choice

Had a few over the years and great cars - would still happily have my traveller back. Far more fun to drive than most people realise but adding disk brakes / servo is a wise mod as the drums really make driving in modern traffic a pain.

Looks in lovely condition Lewis.
In the early 60s I spent many a happy time learning skid control on ice and snow in one of those. Unfortunately mine didn't have the OPTIONAL heater

I suspect it has being the age it is, but does it have windscreen washers? I used to have an old Series III Morris Oxford (1957 if I remember) and it was spec'd with the optional washers

My brother in laws just bought his second (very similar to your other halves) as his daily drive. He also owns an original split windscreen model with the pop out indicators.
He's also RO of the midlands moggy club so if your g/f needs any help or advice I'd be happy to pass on your details.

My first car a '65' C reg 1098 cc.

Poor thing suffered a lot of abuse.

The body started splitting just behind the doors, below the rear windows.

Lovely little car that I rebuilt extensively and when I part exchanged it, it ended up in the show room !

Yeah, but when you are a young YTS guy (youngsters Google it) buggering about under the bonnet making it 'fart' and the throttle jams open and you have to rush round and kill the ignition your 'farts' have lumps

The morris has a few bubbly / rough bits but generally it is really solid and responds well to a bit of polish

It was bought as a bit of a running project for her so any problems will be addressed at some point

That looks really nice. A Moggy was the first car my wife and I ever owned, <cough> years ago. We recently decided we'd like another one, a convertible for sunny Sunday afternoons, so we went down to Charlie Ware's to look at one. What a disappointment. Even though it was a fully refurbed car with disk brakes, it didn't go, didn't stop and didn't go round corners. It was dangerously slow. We walked away without a backwards glance.

I'd have another Moggy, provided it had modern underpinnings...
