Body repair in Leeds area

The person who is 'carefully' looking after my Tuscan for me managed to spin it into a crash barrier on Friday. Does anyone know of a body shop in the Leeds area who knows what they are doing with GRP as it has been taken to Privilege's repairer but I would like a damage assessment from a specialist.

What a nightmare, you have my sympathy. It seems the curse of the Yorkshire TVR owners continues! Just had a thought, couldn't you get the car taken back to the factory/TVR Power? I'm guessing your insurers would've sent it to a local repairer without acknowledging that the car isn't a run of the mill tin top. Perhaps a phone call to them will get the desired result?

I can't speak to Priv until tomorrow, so will see about the factory option then. The main problem is that, as I can't see the car, I have no idea of the extent of the damage myself, which is a bit of a strange feeling. At least it isn't a reflex finish or anything too difficult to match. Knowing how fast they work though I may be back before anything is done.
Glad to hear that you are getting away. I bet you need it after the recent events.
Sorry to hear about the car Marcus. The curse seems to live on doesn't it? I think I'll keep my beastie underwraps for a while longer. 
I second what Jo said - see if you can get it back to the factory. No better and closer place that sending it to meet its maker. You will always have piece of mind that it has been repaired properly and the insurers may actually be happy to oblige. Worth asking. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I should have realised something was going to happen when he emailed to say he thought he was getting the hang of it.
It's warm and sunny here at the moment. I think spring has come early. People have been seen boarding in t-shirts already, but not me yet.
Are you not doing the Spain run this year then?

Yes, I have just spoken to them and they said they are happy for me to specify who does the repairs.

Me, Rods and JS were trying to decide at 4.30 sunday morning which we would spend most on, the tickets, the fuel... or the beer
Spain is definately on the cards for 2005 though
