Geo in Essex/Elite Tyres

Thumbs up to the guys at Elite Tyres in Rainham Essex, took the Chim there Saturday for a couple of front tyres and Geo. Gave them settings taken from a thread on PH and they did a great job, its totally transformed the ride.

Front

0.5 to 0.75 degrees neg camber
1.5mm toe in overall (12 minutes)

Rear
1.4 degrees neg camber
3.0mm toe in overall (24 mins)

Could I ask how much the Geo cost you and can you book your car in for a specific time with Elite? The reason I ask about the time is that I used them quite a few times many moons ago and you just took pot luck on getting seen when you arrived despite the number of bays they had, which was 6 or 8 from memory. They were VERY busy then but not sure about these days.

They don't run a booking system no, you just turn up and the guy told me the earlier the better as they are very popular. I ended up at Elite because Leven could not fit me in till May and I am driving to Dijon the weekend after easter. I went down there Saturday morning at 8.30 they started straight away and it was all done by 10.00 so I was very happy.

It would tramline quite badly and just felt vague and at odds with the road. I have recently fitted new balljoints and Protechs, altering the ride height so getting the geo done was necessary anyway.
