Driving round the north circ the other night I approached a tunnel (edmonton-ish?) - doing about 50...
Dropped down to about 40 shifted to second than booted it....(but not that much
) WOW - where are others? -
even the girlfriend said it sounded awesome (well i think her exact words were: 'can we put the hood up, its raining' - but the sentiment was there.
As you probably know there are various tunnels in london - Blackwall, Datrford etc....
IIRC ther was a wedge meet last year at the Manchester Airport tunnel, I didn't go but it must have been Bludy loud....
Another good one is the link tunnel at Goodwood race circuit, I followed a Cerbera and a Tuscan through on the last brighton run, all in Second gear foot to floor....

Ah! Yes, the Edmonton Angel or something like that.
There are copious quantities of tunnels/underpasses from there clockwise, and more between the M1 and the A40.
ETA> More on the A12 South from the North Circular.
Other good ones are on the M25 immediately East of the A12 and immediately West of the M11.
There are also Blackwall Tunnel (mind the bends), Rotherhithe Tunnel and the Dartford Tunnel (the best fun you can have for a pound).
Also available is the Aldwych underpass (from Waterloo bridge northbound to Kingsway northbound).
I'm sure there are others.
Mmm... I'm thinking an early morning tour of London might be in order sometime. Perhaps on the way down to the NK/SEL club meeting.

Join SELondon/NEKentgroup lots and lots of different Tiv's, regulars thro' tunnel escorting other members home. An excellent way to spend £2. It's the very first place tried out straight thro's on Tuscan. Mmmmmmmmmmm!
The best way we have found is slow to an almost standstill and drag your way through the tunnel, best place to be is at the back!
