Just go up there now, grab a coffee from Brian and loiter around in the showroom, it's what I usually do when I get too excited about waiting.

anyone be around tomorrow afternoon, I have to pop in there for something?

Now I have a sports exhaust, if you even slightly thinking about one, GET ONE!!!

It was popping and cracking on the overrun like kid with a BB gun. Instead of it sounding like this it's now like this

Very pleased and big thanks to Fernies for being so nice

What are you doing sitting at a PC...?

When I put mine on, I raced to the nearest and longest TUNNEL I could find...

no baffles is fantastic isnt it

Mine pops and bangs a good'un. May not be classic V8 rumble so much but it can make young children cry and grannies keel over from 50 yards.

I'm in the process of getting a Chim and would love to hear the sports exhaust cos it's got a standard one and that's the first thing I'll do. I'm in Brighton, maybe we could meet up somewhere?

Cheers, Al.

Where do you live in Sussex, I'm just outside Chichester and Goodwood, I think there's a TVRCC meet at Goodwood this Sunday, I should be going up there family stuff permitting.

I'd be happy to show it off

Shall be going to VW on Sunday, subject to weather as I've only got the Tuscan at the mo and probably won't have new toy by then. Hopefully see and hear you there.

Cheers, Al.

ps. I'm in Brighton, will be home Saturday.

tweety and aaandy - happy to take either of you for a run - although that sodding car park at VW wont let you back in without paying another £4..

If Al fancies it, maybe the two of us could each take one of you out at the same time, nice to hear it from inside and also nice to follow one with no baffles too.

Thanks for that kind offer. I'll definitely take you up on that if that's OK. So much better to hear it going along compared to just giving it some revs in the car park. It your still up for it on the day I would of course pay the £4 for you to get back in.

What time you planning on getting there?

I should be there for 11.30 - 12pm. Planning on leaving west meon at 10.30 - see thread re hants region in the events forum.

If we can make it when I first turn up or when I leave we may be able to use the layby outside the car park to avoid the £4 re-entry (oo-er) fee. Chances are Al will be arriving at a different time though so maybe we can arrange a leaving time together.. I am passenger-less so its no worries with me

Planning to get there about 10:30 to 11:0 ish . good idea about the leaving together. I got Mrs Big Al. as a passenger so no probs, unless it's pi$$ing down!
