Help! How to remove Tuscan lamp on a Cerbera.

I'm trying to change a smashed dip lamp but it looks difficult to get the thing out. It looks as though the three long adjusting bolts have to be pulled from the expanding caps which hold it to the bonded on light bezzel. Or, that the caps themselves have to be compressed to release them from the bezzel but I can't see how it's done.

Any advice on this would be much appriciated guys. Cheers.

AFIK the adjusters have a ball end that just presses into a plastic rose - they are pretty hard to get in/out. The rose sits in a round hole in the metal surround (thats commonly bonded in so you may have some glass / sealant making it harder).

I had nightmares with the damned things dry assembling my Hella lights and then pulling them apart for the real fitment, and that was with everything on the bench I think the worst you can do is knack the plastic roses but they are cheaply available from anyone that has Hella stuff (I had to replace a couple).

I'm not one for brut force to take things apart but some jobs require it and it seems this is one of those. I'll try levering them out. I just thought there may have been a more technical way that doesn't risk breaking anything which I was unaware of.

I'm glad you've mentioned this as thats one of the `to-do` things on my list within the next few weeks. I had a little look at mine a few months ago and the adjusters are located but the black plastic cup type things are not locating in the aptature's on the lamp housing. I have a full set of replacement adjusters at the ready but am just waiting for the skinned knuckles and major headache once i'm doing the job !
