In the end today, I had to admit defeat and call out the AA. I'd left the door ajar and run the battery down. Try as I might I couldn't get the immobiliser to unset its self.

Not only was he polite and solved the problem without hassle, he even helped me to fix the nearside indicator that had fallen in to behind the grill

So Thanks for getting me going for that long awaited blast this afternoon.

Yep, I've found the AA chaps to very helpful too. Plus, I keep the interior light switch to 'off' so I can't make your mistake!

Ah, Paul - don't forget the delay relay is still drawing current with the light off. (I know from experience!)
