Well pissed off
Discussion
At dinner time today the wife had just got back from town, put the keys in the house door ,a man grabbed her and pushed her though the door, holding what the wife thinks was a gun to her head, demanded the keys for the TVR ,lucky for me i had the keys with me.So instead he took the wifes handbag, only thing is she had just been to the jewellers to have all her gold valued. He took over 12 thousand pounds of gold, plus a new cam-corder , camera , phone ,300 pounds cash.
The wife was involved in an armed robbery last year which she still has not got over and then this happens. What is this country coming to?.
Luky he did not take my car, the police believe he thought it was a newer car because he could only see the badge through the window, so take care people they are after TVRs.

Jesus !
That is just awful !
Glad that everyone is physically OK, but the problem is that this kind of stuff really screws up your head. Losing peace of mind is the worst thing.
Are you sure they were after the car? Is it likely instead that they followed her from the jewellers and had an idea what she might be carrying?

and the scum is caught and dealt with.
Trouble is when the scum do get caught all they get is a luxury holiday with HM blessing or community service that doesnt get done.....what they need is putting into a room with some of their victims and have the fecking s
t kicked out of them....
Hope your wife is ok mate...not a nice thing for any decent person to have to go through...
Steve...that's really dreadful.
Glad that your wife is okay.
Jewellery is very sentimental to us girls....sometimes the value is not the issue.....especially if it is a piece bought for us by a loved one.
I feel really badly for her....what a dreadful thing to go through.......

Don't know how the wife will be , think we might have to move, even more good news is only part of the gold will be covered with the insurance. She had to get it valued before we could put it on the house insurance.
don't know any of you guys as new to the TVR thing and not yet been to any meets but obviously a really good community as evidenced by the concern at something this terrible. S/S - Never met you but really hope your wife is able to deal with this ok in time - it is bound to be a toughie - really puts into context the things that some of us think are problems. All the best to you both and rot in hell to the loathsome scum that do this kind of thing.
Jesus H. Any chance of them catching the B'stards??
I'm sure all on PistonHeads send our best wishes.
If I may lighten the mood a little, our Chimaera currently lives ouside, next door but one have a caravan, at about 6am last Thursday some scrotes came along and nicked................................the caravan.
I managed not to laugh when my neighbour told me, was it a lucky escape or did society do us a favour?

Sorry to hear this. Just a couple of weeks ago on the 26th Jan 2004 I came home to find my flat and two others in our block of six had been broken into. Didn't really affect me mentally, but it did seem to really hurt my girlfriend. They stole some really strange things that I can't understand why they would want them, like all of our photos, and instead of emptying drawers they just took them! Most annoying was taking all of my clothes and shoes although they didn't take any of my girlfriends clothes (they did search through her undies...she has now thrown all of them away!). They took my computer, which was also a pain in the arse, but i think i was lucky that they must have been scared off because they didn't get to my lounge, so all my electricals, cds, dvd's etc were still left behind. Cost me about 4-5 thousand pounds i suppose and being uninsured really didn't please me, but then thats my own fault!!
Hope it all works out OK, must admit it seems the scum seems to be outnumbering the good folk out there! N
o criticism to the BIB but it would be nice if we had a legal/political system that had the balls to punish the w*&kers and keep them out of society...a nice anthrax infected island that needs populating would be an idea!
PS My apologies to any bleeding hearts upset by this but can I suggest you explain how hard done these scum are to S/S's wife!
