Anyone know this car and dealer?

After getting excited over a car in the PH classifieds and sorting out time off to go look at it I now find out it's sold
It seems to have been totally perfect with excellent maintenance by the previous owner. Oh well.
So with that one gone does anyone know this car and can anyone give me any info about the dealer - HHC? Also, with a car and warranty would it bother you to live over 300 miles from the dealer for getting any niggles sorted?

I guess its a bit late for this advice, but I would always call and strike up dialogue on a car with a dealer well before deciding to view.
I just collected the Storm Grey Tuscan HHC have advertised on their site, on saturday, and my dealings have been nothing but positive with Tony.

Perfect service to date from all members of their team. I thought that no garage could possibly put up with someone as pedantic as me about their car but to my delight they seem to know where I'm coming from and have looked after my interests extremely well. JR

I think Tuscan 2's are selling really well, I've had a flurry of activity over my beloved beast over the past week, think she found a new home at the weekend, I'm gonna miss her.

There are a number of things that you should be aware of when buying any TVR. One of which is the existence of HHC.
Tony first and foremost is a car enthusiast and more importantly a TVR enthusiast. He races his own Tuscan in the TVR championship and has been an active car club member for many years. Tony is probably the longest established TVR dealer and Ian and Joe and Richard have a long history of mechanicing on all TVR models as well as their own cars / race preparation.
You will find that HHC do not sell you cars. You go there to buy them.
Out of all of the sphere of TVR dealers I am pretty sure that you will never hear a negative comment. After 25 plus years of trading, not many dealers can claim that!
Personally all of my fleet are maintained at HHC, Including Landrover, Audi and occasionally TVR.
I would sooner have experienced mechanics looking after my vehicles than modern franchise conglomerates with technicians who only read fault codes.
I find that the piss taking is also free, as is the coffee (providing you like powdered milk)

I've also bought a few cars from Tony, 3 TVRs, a Lotus and a BMW and he is currently looking for another vehicle for me as I type this. I've had them all serviced with HHC. The service is second to none and they treat you like a person, not someone who is just a source of income.
Even if I saw a car elsewhere, I would rather buy from HHC if I could. I trust them implicitly and would never hesitate to recommend them.
A proper TVR institution. Not much of that sort of thing left now the factory is no more and there are no more new cars being built but Tony and his team really still promote that TVR family feeling.

I live around 400 miles away in Southampton so I don't use HHC for my servicing but I bought my Tusc 2 S sight-unseen from Tony.
The whole deal was open, honest, with loads of info/photos/phone discussions etc etc with delivery all the way down to Newbury. Car turned out to be a good'un too.
Super car, super dealer in my experience.
