flexi air intake hose

Probably better to fit ACT's smooth bore intake hose, no chance of it collapsing then....

Do you need it urgently? If not you're welcome to mine when I fit my ACT kit. I'm in Bedford and anticipate doing it by the end of Feb.

well i have an ACT one but its not going to fit up the s/charge very easy, it will be going for free after march, yes please ill have yours

Perhaps someone can answer a possibly dopey question? Why isn't the air filter fitted directly on to the AFM/MAF thing rather than having to drag the air up 1 metre of pipe? I have been pondering for a couple of days.

If the filter was on the afm all the air sucked in would be very hot, instead of a nice (restricted) cool air feed from the front.

Cold Air is far denser than the rubbish hot stuff under the bonnet
