Hi my name is Simon I was Davids navigator in trevor the tvr, Davids partner has now asked me to sort out and sell the tvr. I know it needs some repair after the accident we had last year and david had started to repair it but thats all I know. It is a Tuscan Challenge car with a 5.2 V8 Runs quad down draught throttle bodies and an emerald ECU. A 5 speed quaiff box thats just been rebuilt and has lots of spares. If you would like pictures go to trevor the tvr rallying on facebook or youtube.
I don't know what it's worth and I don't know how to put it back together so I thought I would ask on here as you are all passionate about tvr's.
Hope you can help
Simon Crew.

Very sad to hear about David. Full of admiration for him (and you Simon) rallying a Tuscan.

Best wishes, Andy

I have it here in bits still, most of the car has now been renovated and hope to start putting it back together again this coming winter. It will be returned to the circuit where my interest lies and i hope it will compete in the Dunlop European Tuscan Challenge. The car will be built as a Group "A" car using a Cheverolet engine.

The TVR AJP engine is mighty impressive thats for sure,(Just begginers luck).Coming onto start/finish straight at brands with those 420 horses pulling was one heck of an adrenalin rush.I will be back with Cheverolet power at Donnington on July 23rd.I just hope it will be good enough to compete with the AJP.I go very well at Donny so should be a good dust up as last weekend. biggrin

As said before:

I was new to TVR when trying to sort out a 'cheap' written off TVR S1 into a possible rally car. Dave was my inspiration.

Only managed to speak a few times and did not know he was about to depart us.

This is my S under taking closing car duties.

He was some guy.

RIP but not forgotten
