Just had a look at the Wiki - very useful.

But can anyone add anything on who does or doesn't cover commuting use, as some companies - particularly the more specialist ones - will only give cover for a second car used for weekends and other fun.

I've got a classic policy with Flux, with commuting added. Very reasonable & very handy for me. Only thing is they don't do trackday cover so I'll have to get that separately which might be a pain, haven't tried yet.

My A.Manning policy covers me for social, domestic & business use.
Being self employed I've always had business cover, and my premiums don't seem to differ much from other tiv owners.

Our ltd mileage policies will cover you for commuting as well. If you want me to get someone to call you just let me know.
