what ratios were used in the T5

I'm playing around with some calculations using different diff ratio and tyre sizes and need the t5's ratios as used in TVR's,
i also need the standard GKN Diff ratio too

What are we looking for slideways? A higher top speed without bouncing off the limiter?

That's setup for a Sag with a 3:46 Hydratrack diff , hence the Speed Six 7600 shift,but I guess the T5 non CR ratios would be the same.

Just change the shift RPM and alter to your diff ratio & tyre size, and thats it

exacty that! ~I now have two diffs, a 3.9 and a std one. I really need to know what ratio the std one is.
Also what 5th is and if there is any longer gears for 5th on the t5 so i can up the top speed.
i am already looking at bigger wheel/tyre combos.

I believe the std diff ratio is 3.45 and 5th is 0.8

I run 255/50/16 tyres at the drag strip which are a total of 26.1" dia.
They are squeezed onto standard wheels so flare outboard a little and i had to cut and modify the inner arches to clear. My suspension was very soft also which didnt help.
I think with the right wheel width and offset they would clear a standard car.
This size tyre gives you over 5% extra legs over standard sizes.
Im hoping to hit 170 in my Chim on these at an event such as vmax next year if i ever get the chassis and engine sorted.

Its the GKN crown wheel that is the mission impossible component of the diff?

You need some good contacts to get hold of those I would imagine, I can only think of a few possible candidates..
