NEXEN TYRES?

I will need some tyres if I change my car and looking at what is available in the size I may need there is not much - but what there is is polarised to very expensive (yes I know its what keeps us on the road but I'm not going to be in permanent hoon mode) and also quite cheap but the Nexen N3000 seems to get a decent write up from a couple of people (someone saying better than the Bridgestones - didn't say which B'stones though) for what is a fairly cheap tyre so has anyone fitted them on their Tiv and if so with what results in terms of grip wet and dry?? I'm curious as to whether I should be even thinking about them!

hi , ive got them on my smart roadster and there good for the price, a bit unpredictable in the wet but when dry there brilliant ,

but i would never even think about putting them on my Tamora.

Thanks Ant - that confirms what I'd suspected might be the situation in the wet but worth asking the question - no substitute for proper tyres especially with the P&J!
