Ouch!

No i haven't binned the car but thought i'd share my intimate moment with my Chim this morning.

Took my five year old out for a spin over to the new work offices and on getting back into the car i managed to stick the corner of the metal window frame right up my left nostril ( all 15 stone parking it fimrly up my noz) My five year old found the ensuing nose bleed hilarious.

Moral of the story is make sure you open your door fully before getting in like an oaf.

any body know anyone who is good at applying silicone on here???

Clarkson IIRC commented on a similar set up on the Calibra, saying you could poke your eye out on it, I think the comment was "you only do that once."

I always stick my thumb on the top of that frame when I get in or out the car.

I did get the palm of my hand trapped when pushing up the oversquare lock bar on the rear hood.

Have also needed 2 stitches on my finger after cleaning between body and exhaust on the Griff. Those slash cut tailpipes are razor sharp.

I've managed to avoid the nostril/eye window pillar injuries so far though.

Sliced my fingers on the slash cut exhausts - got soot in the cut so its king of like a tattoed line across my finger

Caught the side of my face on the alloy window runner - result: action man like scar for a few weeks! Got into the habit of putting my hand on top when getting in and out?

done the same on my pipes, I now have two lovely tatoos on two of my fingers

Brings back memories of the my first TVR inflicted injury, just got the T350t from Craig at Track V ROAD 240ish miles put it in garage before it got wet.Was admiring the spectraflair paint job under fluorescent lights when i stepped back and was branded on my calf by a redhot exhaust pipe.Worst burn ive ever had, it took her indoors 3hours to stop giggling grrrrrrr.
