precat swirlpot

can any one enlighten me as to whether a precat has a header tank or is it encorperated into the swirlpot? also if it has the otter switch on the swirlpot?

what model of car are you talking about and do you mean the fuel swirl pot.

No header tank, expansion cap is the filler on top of the swirl tank, there is a tapping for an otter switch at the bottom of the tank, on pre-serp swirl tanks.

Have a word with Ant, his pre-cat tank is certainly slightly different from the pre-serp ones I've seen... Better to use on the serp front cover as the bracket is flat (unlike the pre-serp version which has a curled up edge ) Not insurmountable to have the bracket altered, but easier if you don't have to

just found an old email from Ant. which answered my first question about header tanks
but his swirlpot was already on the car so i may have to have one made doing this should clear a fair bit of space up front
