Expansion Tank Fabrication

OK chaps by expansion tank mounted on the wing has seen better days and I need a new one, anyone know of some fabricators that can fab up a new one ?. Seen a nice new shiny tank on a power steering tank on a Griff in sprint.

are you talking about the coolant expansion tank, that on a griff sits bolted to the middle of the front chassis cross member?

Yes its the wing mounted tank on a chim, want a nice polished one, thinks the same in a griff

There's a guy on ebay cater7man who will make whatever you want - look at his articles for sale for examples HERE

I haven't bought anything but have contacted him about swirl pots for the S Series.

yep thats the one clive, were did TVR get them made ??, it almost impossible to get one s/h and even then it could have suffered the same fate as mine. Ok Barkeychoc ill take a look

I'd be interested - Tiv got smashed into in Belgium and this was one of the casualties...

I suspect getting a standard tank from a TVR specialist will be the quickest and cheapest solution, but if you're considering getting one made then I recommend AH Fab (Google is your friend). They've made several tanks for me for around £70 - £80.
