Here are a few pics (eventually) from the ride out at the beginning of December and also the starting line up on Boxing Day...

"As the smell of bacon butties drifted down the road Chim Girl was surprised to find her driveway suddenly rather busy"

A fine example indeed - Peter Wheeler is still wondering where his promotional number plate went.

Not a bad backside considering it isn't a Griff I s'pose

However, yet more smells of frying bacon resulted in Chim Girl's driveway looking like the starting grid at Le Mans by Boxing Day!

er... I just added this cos I like the shot and I can

Apparently it was one of the requirements for the Estate Agent - find me a house that can comfortably take 5000 bhp and has great acoustics

(it can, and it does!)

Glad to see you didnt let the side down Al and had your roof down.
In fact I reckon your roof doesnt even go up and you dont have the targa panel as I have never seen a pic with it on.

He did put it on in the pub car park when it was raining a little but it must be a rare experience for him as it took bloody ages to get it done

It was the first time I had had my roof on. Thought it would be better as I was not completely recovered from the laringitis and flu I had before Christmas

Thank God it was on, as on the way back over the M62 it persisted down. Persistantly. (down to 30mph!!!!)

You will be pleased to know the roof will be off this weekend!

Only problem was that my son took a fancy to a Cerbera and is plotting a way of getting one of his own. (who wants to trade his 52 Clio for one?) That will cramp my style a bit!

Must do this again soon.

Eli

Al, still do not know what was catching on the horn, but if I leave the steering wheel in the most upright position it seems ok. Provides an interesting drive.

No, I thought a pub might do that for us...

How about a run up Snake Pass or summat, then round and back to Hathersage - 31st. January, if the weather's not too bad - we could meet in one of those posh cafes near Sheffield town centre.

I'll be spending the whole of that weekend shunting all my belongings down to Derby, so should be able to find a few hours for a blast 1/2 way between the two.

Snake Pass sounds fun - I'll be there if I can, keep the details coming

Andy - West Yorks meet on the 9th?

The 9th of Feb is a Monday, the West Yorks TVRCC meets third Sunday of the month at The Manor Golf Club at Drighlington near Tong/Ikea.

Are you thinking of the one that meets at The Woolpack in Esholt on a Monday evening?

You're right, my dates are all confused cause nobody knew what day we were leaving to go snowboarding

Anyway, I may go along to the N. Yorks which I think is Sunday 8th (events is not updated in a while) and then the W. Yorks the week after near Ikea if it's worth going to I heard they were a right rowdy mob

If there's any more runs between the 9th and 19th then I can do that also.

That's cos not a lot of people from WYTVRCC bother with anything to do with PistonHeads

Email me the best address to send them to and i will forward them across - medium or hi-res?

Ahem, I can't seem to see your car on my drive !

It would have been there (honest), but for a number of reasons... the radiator, the exhaust manifold, various pipes, a blown gasket, etc..

Am I EVER gonna get this damn car back together?

Roy.
