Just haven't seen many posts over the last while from any other Scottish PH'ers discussing the TVR scene up here at the moment. Just wondering how people are finding Glenvarigill for sales and servicing or if Dreadnought is more popular than ever? Any new owners about and if so, what did you buy, from where?

So many questions.....

The Scots don't post on here because of the cost of the stamps!

go to the TVRCC monthly meetings - Kirkcaldy or Strathblane. A lot of the people there are also PHers.

Sorry mate, the word 'Jocks' is racist. Expect the police to break your door down any minute.

Oh so it is! Yeah I'm dead offended I am , especially if there's a compensation claim likely... "hello, is that my lawyer?"

I am a fellow jock and live only 10 miles from Glenvarigill. I take it that it is not moving to Edinburgh any more? I am just a TVR lover and am some way away from owning one but just thought that I would let you know us Jocks are here!

I'm continuing to use Noel Flannery at V8 sports - don't know anyone that has used Glenvarigil yet.
I know that they hired one of Claire Luti's staff(Dreadnought), as well as one of Noel's
As to their move, I've heard that they are pretty financially stretched at the moment, so it might not happen for a little while yet...

I have just taken my car into Noel for a few bits and pieces so we'll see how that pans out. He seemed to have a reasonable number of TVRS in though, so should be fine I hope. He also had what looked like a purple corvette up on some stands.

Unfortunately, I'm in chilly Moscow just now so can't really contribute much to the Scottish Tiv scene.

BTW, I'm a Jock and proud of it. Its better than being a Sassenach jessie

is that a death threat?

Ah I see! You were using the transposition of concepts in an amusing way, thus providing a comedic interpretation of an otherwise socially unacceptable form of behaviour, which is of course in no sense allegoric to any other recent events within or affecting our virtual community!

Very good sir, in that case,

No no my fellow Scotsman. You must never use racist terms regarding our friends South of the border. The term Sassenach might be considered racist so do not use it again, or I'll report you to Ted. Now if you wish to nickname them in a non racist PC kind of way, simply refer to them by their REAL nick. Soft Southern shandy woofters.

Indeed, that's much better and more PC. For our English brethren, you should also be aware that "southern" in this context refers to anyone from south of the border, and therefore people from Newcastle are just as soft as those from Molton-on-the-Wold (or wherever).

However, as I live in England I have to admit they can be alright most of the time, except when they win in sporting fixtures. Grrr.
