Clutch Adjustment

Finally got the car back together and it started and moved first time

The only thing that is a bit annoying is that the clutch bite seems to be very high on the pedal (within the last 2 inches of pedal travel)

Im not sure if it was like this before, and that maybe it just feels weird after driving a different car for the last 6 weeks, but is there any way to adjust the clutch so that it bites a bit earlier?

And we checked the clutch while it was out and it is hardly worn at all, so thats one thing that it won't be.

Any ideas?

You can change the length of the push rod that connects the pedal to the master cylinder. There's a lock nut which needs to be undone, and then the rod can be rotated to suit.
