Following on from your shallow victory over me in the Brighton Speed Trials (FUBAR excuses 375-379: New R888s, younger car, fancy sprint diff (probably), pure luck, knobbling the timing equipment) how about we have a go at the TVRCC Speed Championship next year?

Im not suggesting we do the full calendar, just some of the southern events (I mean, why would I want to sully my car in the dirty air up in the land of the flat cap wearing pigeon fancier ).

Also means we can upgrade our licences and do 2 timed runs at Brighton next year.

What say you old chap? If I have a 'partner in crime' it will get me more motivated.

Planned to do some this year but never got round to quietening down my exhaust, but that is now in hand.

Put this on a public forum so we have witnesses

I can heartily recomend this, I have only done a handfull of the sprint events this year but they have been fantastic fun.

Sadly I couldn't make Brighton this year (to kick your arse again Fubar )

You could always come and watch and have a chat with us (the current sprinters) at Prescott on the 27th September. There are 23 TVRs entered and TVRCC Three Counties turn up 'en masse' to spectate (there were ~50 TVRs in the car park last year) - there's discounted entry for TVRs, dedicated parking and a run up the hill at lunchtime for spectators. It's a great day out.

Hi Chaps,

It would be great to see some more Cerb's out there next year.

Mine didn't get out much this year, so I need some practice - that's my excuse anyway.

One thing to consider is that there will be new regs on helmets for next season so do check your is okay, From Memory must be Snell2005 or better.

Or if BS6658-85 Type A or B, must end '/FR' for "Fire Resistant".

Slightly OTT for sprinting IMO, since Proban is still allowed, and there is no requirement to wear flameproof gloves, socks or underwear.
