Racing Reds ?

Has anyone any info on RR's, I have read they may have stopped production due to quality issues ?

they did indeed have a problem for a while, my set included! the problem was with the oil seals, which has now been resolved by nitron providing the seals to RR now, AFAIK rrs are still in production. my replacement set have, so far, been fault free.

Oh that's reassuring. Have you been happy with them ? Do you do track events ??

yes very happy with them, they changed the car completly (they would do over the standard mk1 shocks )

have not tracked the replacements yet but i have every confidence in them as it would have cost them (RR) a small fortune in F.O.C replacements and would not continue to sell them if they were not 100% sure the matter was solved .

the people who look after my car also fitted the replacements for free too and are continuing to fit these newer racing reds, so if they are confident with them i have no reason to not be, given that they are half the cost of nitrons or ohlins and now have nitron seals i would say they are definatly worth a go.
