Used TVRs are always a problem.
These cars are entirely developed by tiny TVR.
TVR leaves you to sort out your own CD sounds, but it does equip the Griffith with a non-RDS radio cassette.
But overall, the Griffith is an effort to drive
The traditional deep, wide TVR backbone eats up interior space. If you need a usable boot, buy the Chimaera instead.![]()
Insurance will be pricey too, but the Griffith appears to hold its value well unless mileage the mileage gets really high.![]()
Do you really need 326 bhp? No, but it sure is exciting![]()

but the Griffth 500 is helped by its supercar reputation. Used values are not too bad, and it's probably the easiest TVR to resell.
Although a lot of the 'toys' are missing, for those who simply require raw thrills the Griffith really is cracking value. Nothing else costing only five figures can match its acceleration.
Rorty noise and muscle-bound styling means that the Griffith is an ultra high-profile roadster![]()
With 0-60 in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 167 mph there is nothing else to touch the Griffith at the price.
Real hooligans will choose the exciting and slightly thuggish Griffith 500 over the more usable, less over-the-top Chimaera.![]()

I have to agree with most of the comments, for the money there is simply nothing better than a sorted 500 Griff nothing I have ever driven is as quick sounds so good and looks so good as one. By the way I have had an indicated speed of 165 on the clock I said that was fast the car was pulling like a train .
