The cars on demo would be on a stocking plan with some finance company, my advice would be try and find out what Finance house TC used. You can also ring round various companies. As you know TVRs do not hold their value at the moment. It also costs money to send cars to auction. If you wanted a TVR, there is a good deal waiting here for someone.

I'd want to hear from some of the people who have lost money through Team Central i.e. Steve (the bible) Heath before even thinking about a team central car to see if it will help or hinder them by buying one.

Whether someone from this list buys them, or someone else won't make a difference to the 'owner'. I guess the question on losses will come about from the legals relating to ownership. For instance the TVR deposits and contracts are made directly with the factory, not the dealer, from re-collection. Similarly the issue will be whether the cars ownership was transferred to the dealer before it went onto the owner, 'cos if it was owned by the dealer then you are a general creditor like everyone else, same for any money placed with the dealer. The risk will be for people who have paid the dealer for the car, if the dealer had not passed the money to TVR. Just an amateur point of view though. Guy R
