Don't know if they're over the odds but Castle TVR have their own bodyshop on site. One of the owners of Castle is the guy who has the bodyshop that the TVR Centre use too so they will at least be very experienced with Tivs. They were working on about 3 cars when I went up there a few months back.

Last time I was at Castle they had 6 cars for repairs.... Winter again then.

Look pretty good and have all of the equipment and space to do a good job. Dont know anyone that has had work done but should be pretty good though.

Cheers,

Paul

I used a guy in Chelmsford - £120 for a wing respray (dontcha love car parks ?) as opposed to £400 from TVR. My colour is Starmist and he matched it perfectly.

If you are interested e-mail me I'll get you the no.

Hilton coachworks in Bishop Stortford (Essex/Herts border) Peter Hilton who owns Castle, must have been doing TVR crash repairs for at least seven years. Seen there work very good (Re-sprayed my 260Z 6yrs ago)

Try Fulford Motorsport in Colchester. Just had my front resprayed(headlight conversion) and he matched my Halcyon Altantis perfectly -

I used to do windscreen repairs for Hilton Coachworks, and had the opportunity so see lots of TVR's in a state of undress and the finished articles. Very impressive.

Hilton Coachworks - ah, the penny drops.... Someone who works for Hilton lives near a friend of mine in Newmarket - see the van all of the time. Wondering why it had "The TVR Centre" logos on it as they are in Barnet!! Ah, if Hilton are on the Herts/Essex border then not so bad....

Cheers,

Paul

thanks for the info gents .Just for the record I used Fernhurst to do the first annual service on my Tuscan(a bit of a drive but it was recommended by a colleague)what a difference to the garage where I bought it.Excellent job and the people who work there couldn't do anymore to help ,only problem--Nissan Micra as the curtesy car-mind you it was a sport version!!!!!
