No work today

...so what have I been doing with my free time? Cleaning, polishing, and most importantly driving my new TVR

It's the first time I've had the chance to drive it in daylight since I brought it home on Sunday. Managed to break a roof clip and discovered the drivers footwell was a bit wet, but who cares! It was just nice to get out and drive (top down of course).

A couple of 'drop-a-cog and blast past' overtake manouevers and sure enough I'm grinning like a fool. Is it normal for the heart to pound inside your chest and even miss a beat when you press the loud pedal in third gear and rip past a slower vehicle?

Just taken some piccies with the digi camera, so just have to sort out how to use Fotango and Ill post them up.

huh!

I can see 'em fine. I used 'webshots', created my own album with public viewing.

Wonder why that is?

hmm.. have just responded to confirmation e-mail from webshots to finalise setting up my account.

Try it now!

I can't explain it but if you hit "reply with quote" the url of the pic is stated which when pasted into your browser shows the pic. When you return to the thread - the pics are there.

Looks fantastic!! Nice colour too!

You're right GarryM, that's done the trick.

Lovely car, looks very clean and tidy. I do like those!

BTW Sunday after xmas the D&C TVRCC are going out for a spin (Salcombe). I haven't got the all clear yet but if it's a fine day, it would be a good opportunity to meet up. You around?

No can do Garry. Was really hoping to, but prior (family) business. Certainly want to come along to next meet if possible. May do the Classic Car Show in Bristol if free.

Should we consider another run out sometime like before? Obviously evenings are a bit of a non-starter, but a weekend maybe. I reckon Jamie would be keen now he has had his Griff fettled. Haven't seen much from Richard recently though.
