....I thought, as I snaked artistically 
away from the tyre depot....
are just like a new chequebook!
I thought about chequebooks again as I felt them to find them nicely warmed through and starting to cure after a progressive run back - the long way. Apart from some early doors tyre-spinning action, they did behave pretty well for brand new boots.
You get that glow from the nice crisp, clean feeling - and it's like the bank's full for you again!
