TVR Insurance from Adrian Flux (is this a joke?)

Well that would depend wouldn't it!

If the car was kept on the street overnight in the middle of a city, and you had zero no claims, several accidents in the last 3 years, and a string of motoring convictions then it would be cheap.



How about some information about the risk that they are covering:

No Claims?
Experience of RWD sports cars?
Garaged?
Convictions?
Location?

Yes 5k, full no claims, no points, no claims, garaged, owned car 10 years, just over £300 iirc.

Currently got a quote from Flux sat on my desk...£255.78
And they were beaten by Hagerty, £20 cheaper even including breakdown cover.

5k mileage, garaged, no points etc....

It's the mileage that does me. Enjoy driving mine too much so have unlimited. Full NCB, but 4 points on the licence (another 6 which are about 4 years old but they told me they don't count them). About £800.

My renewal was in April & AF were very competitive on price. A good 40% less than my then current insurer.

Just taken out insurance with Flux after being with Hagerty. I just couldn't say no to fully comp and 3K pa on my 450SE for £126.00. I'm aherrmm in my early 40's.

So I suggest each company may have a saving dependant on your circs and the veh insured.

You have to shop around. Now 47, max NCD, no points, on drive, no trackdays, 5,000 miles p.a.
My first year i.e. no RWD experience with Heritage hence £460 (increased to £560 as I upped the mileage). Second year £287 with Adrian Flux and this year £260 with A-Plan. The renewal quotes have been a joke - several hundreds more than the previous year but within a few phone calls I've so far got it down to what I think are acceptable levels.

I'd second that, I got my renewal and although not a bad price it had gone up £50 on last year for no reason, so Sprint in hand I had a day off work and rang everyone in it, some were higher, some were lower, than I tried a company I was with a few years ago and they blasted everyone out the water.
