T350T to Tuscan 2 s convertable

I've never had a T350 so cant compare but against my previous TVR's my new Tuscan Mk 2 convertible is the best yet.
I loved my Wedge, Chimaera and my last Tuscan, all of which were my daily drives.
The comparison against my last Tuscan is the easiest and there is a big difference all round, from body panel alignment, general fit and finish and for me the design changes are all excellent.
It truelly is ace.
It realy struck home when I bought this one what a shame it is that we have lost TVR Blackpool.
Long live TVR.

When you test drive one make sure it hasn't got a "diff shunt" in 3rd and 4th around 30 mph... mine annoyed me until I changed the prop shaft and diff (3:46 to a 3:73). Now, not only has the shunt gone but it drives far smoother with the combination of CR box and Diff.. many Sag/T350 owners go to 3:91 ratio diff mainly for performance (I assume).
My view is that the Tuscan 'targa' is also well worth considereing. It's no less a convertible and looks better with the hard top on than the vert does with the canvas roof up. The hardtop fits neatly in the boot leaving loads of luggage room too. It works really well although the rear screen can be a bit fiddly.
T350 is a fine car and still one if my favourite looking cars but the convertible feature of either Tuscan takes the tvr experience to another level. So much so I traded in a sagaris for mine.

My wife saw your Tuscan at Ians the other week and thought it was the nicest TVR ever. I loved my Wedge, Chimaera and my last Tuscan, all of which were my daily drives.

Must admit that when we first started looking at the Tuscan 2S I wouldn't consider anything other than a convertible as I didn't think that the Targa would tick all the boxes. 18 months down the line at a Hants TVRcc open day at Fernies my other half persuaded me to sit in one and to cut a long story short 2 days later the car was ours. I like the fact that you can have the roof panel on but also have the rear window out.I do still like the convertibles but I love the Targa. So don't dismiss them completely.

Thats the bit I miss from my Mk1 Targa now I have the convertible.Rear screen out is perfect fot high speed motorway driving.
Also the lines of the Targa are far better than the convertible with its top up but when the top is down then I think that the convertible wins.

Hubbie has a T350C and I have a Tuscan S Convertible, so I drive both fairly regularly.
I find the Tuscan seats more comfortable, he prefers the T350 ones.
I find the T350 feels like a much smaller car overall - which it is - it feels "neater" and the steering is much lighter and more direct.
Other than that, as his T350 has the 4 litre Tuscan s engine, and tuscan s brakes, I can't tell the difference.
On a practical note, the Tuscan is a much better tourer, as it is intended to be, with a huge boot.
Guess it comes down to what you want to do with it, and how you feel driving them back to back.
