Not being in a position to buy TVR's latest showstopping motors, and not being that keen on them anyway 
If you had a limit of £20k to spend on a used motor what would you have next,
A Cerbera is a viable option, but what else is out there that will give the same enjoyment
No constrants on practicality, other than must be able to hold enough luggage to 'do' Le Mans, servicing/general running costs can't be more than a Cerbera.
And to make it even more future proof, say you had a Cerbera this time, in 3 years time you fancy a change, again £20k to spend, will T350c's be down to this by then, if not what then, no other TVR's allowed, and you can't have a newer Cerbera

If I had 20k to spend on a car and could afford to run it, which is another thing entirely, I'd have a Cerbera, no question.
But I haven't, so I won't be ...

Well, maybe I'd have a Pontiac GTO instead ... and a lot of change.
If you can afford a Cerbie, then get one as no other car I've seen looks as good or sounds as good and stops people in their tracks as much. Not even a Tuscan or T350. The Cerb is awesome in that respect.

I think in all honesty if I didn't have my Chim, then it would be a Cerb for sure. Then again, I've always liked Caterham 7's and their derivitives - would a change of undies and a credit card count as enough kit for Le Mans? Hell of a run down from the ferry

I could probably cope but racegirl would definatly be booking herself in for a week somewhere sunny on Le Mans weekend if I surgested that

A bit of both
Fancy a change in spring and the TVR range is loosing appeal to me 
you do realise that you will miss the V8 burble and the stares as soon as you leave the Tiv on the forecourt and drive away in your new Porsche/Beemer/Merc. It will be instant regret and you will ruin the whole Le Mans experience. Far better keep the Tiv and play with it (upgrades,etc). cerbs are lovely but consider this:
1. The roof doesn't come off, not an issue in the middle of December, but what about the baking hot summers day on the wide open clear French Autoroutes?
2. Do you need 2 kids seats in the back?
3. Will you be able to put Racegirl on the game to pay for the servicing/repairs to a Cerb? (only kidding)
If the answers to 1 + 2 concern you then buy a Saab 93 ragtop - 4 seats and a removeable roof. Also cheap to service.

Hah! Not done any serious research, but i'd be suprised if it came out at less than twice the price
I forgot to mention another car I would have, a Dax Cobra. I was looking at these when deciding what to go for after the NSX. You can get some very good examples for £20k.

Nice, but just not me really, in the summer months we have a local 'Classic/Sports car meeting' and the chap who sorts it out drives one, and we even get a real one turn up once in a while
just not my cup of tea though, I'd class them the same as the Caterfield's far to meny press-studs to do the roof up
