Cherry Bomb

It's actually not for a TVR, but I know plenty of you run these silencers in your TVRs so I assumed this was the best place to ask for advice

I would like to order a Cherry Bomb via mail order, but Google is not my friend so I am looking for recommendations please. The ones I have contacted so far seem a little, erm, dodgy.

Offords don't do 'cherry bombs' (there was a big hoo-ha about this last year). They do a sports exhust (straight through pipes effectively), which people for some reason have been calling 'cherry bombs'.

Before you part with your folding. have a read of David vizards book tuning the a series engine.

david did a lot of back to back exhaust testing and the cherry bomb was one of the worst flowing exhaust silencers tested, in some cases worse than a standard system.

this may have changed over the years but have a read for comparative reviews..

offords 'cherry bomb' conversion does not use a cherry bomb product... it is a coincidental name...

Talk to Tim at ACT Products. He should be able to sort something out for sensible money, assuming you don't want to go direct to the supplier (JP Exhausts).
