anyone local know of anyone that can time my cam up

im in rg42 4uh bracknell/binfield....[m4 jun 10]
its a v8 developments stage 3,which i bought as new off a guy who's project went tits up,was still in celophane...i wanted a hotter cam and bought a cam off v8 d's.
needs to be set at 111 degrees.well ive attempted it with cam dial and cheap dti gauges but im not happy its right
so im looking for someone to check and correct if needed..any ideas?

Sounds like you are 99% there to me. Maybe just get a good quality DTI and re-check. Will be less than £20 of Fleabay.

If you are really unsure you can always do the plastercine test..

Put a thin smear of plastercine on one piston top where you expect the valves to touch .. bolt on 1 head .. with say 6 bolts.. not fully tight either.. asemble just the pair of valves and no others..

Turn engine .. gently.

Strip engine and check for signs on the plastercine.

Should not be necessary really.
