I spotted that a while ago and thought i would have a little punt on it, might look ok on the Sag, I wouldn't pay much over a grand though.

Bit of an odd plate to want though... I don't see why it has any intrinsic value to a TVR enthusiast

im guessing about 2500, and before you shoot me down in flames I bid last month on ONE 111S which had a reserve of £750, sold for abnout 8k inc fees and appeared on Reg Transfers a few days last for 53k. its now at about 30k!

reg plates are mental prices, depending on whos buying at any given time.

F1 TVR on the motorhome which tows the race car might be nice though!

A friend of mine has recently bought "TVR 1" for his Tuscan. I gather it wasn't cheap, but it is a somewhat unique plate! If I remember correctly even TVR themselves never owned that one.

I wouldn't be surprised if "F1 TVR" sells for a 5-figure sum, even in these troubled times.

No and no, and I'd have thought my comment was self explanatory because TVR didn't race in F1 so I still don't get it. There are loads of XXX TVR plates around so what's special about this one?

That's right, it was owned by one of the proprietors of Portfield Sports and Classics where my Griff came from and it was on a Cerbera for some time. They were offering to sell it for £25,000.
