New name for the T440

A little birdie tells me that the T440 has got a new name (to be revealed at MPH03).

It's going to be called the "Typhon". Not sure whether that's a mis-spelling of "Typhoon" or "Typhoo", but it's nice to see that TVR have:

a) Gone back to using names.
b) Stopped calling multiple models "Tuscan".

It's a bit irrelevant unless you can actually buy one. The T440R has been around for ages, but are there any in private hands? Not that I know of. It doesn't exist.

There's 1 on the road, and 2 in build apparently. There was a thread about it a few weeks ago - the owner posts on here sometimes.

There is one, Fish's dealer has driven it before it got handed over to the the buyer.

I had a T440R on order for a couple of years (it was called the Tuscan R when I ordered it though). I got bored waiting and cancelled it in the end. I didn't see any chance of them delivering it within my lifetime, and it would have been pretty useless to me if they had, as I was doing a lot of miles. I'd have been at the dealer for at least one day a week

There's a T440 up in Harrogate. I just had a look inside today as I was passing by.
Looks nice inside and even has 4 seats. A bit of a family motor I guess!!!

Word from TVR is it won't be ready for another 20 years
