Hi, i need to get my SEAC on a rolling road after an engine rebuild.
The car has done approx 2000 miles and whilst it seems to be running fine, i do think it's running rich. I haven't looked at or worked out mpg but the emissions do smell very strong!

I wondered if anyone had used Power Engineering in Uxbridge or Torque of the Devil, also in Uxbridge?

I used Power 15 years ago for an RS that i had but that was some time ago. I do remember being happy with what they did though.

Recommendations really, has anyone used either for their TVR's? Their websites look very good, and they both seem to be capable of dealing with any car.

Thanks smile

No knowledge of those ones, the company I book for Growl are http://www.crazyhorsesracing.com/index.php from Borehamwood. Speak to Gary/Simon if you like, know their stuff.

Try Charlie (Vixpy1) at http://www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk/

Not a lot he doesn't know about TVR's... He may have a hangover today though after last night! hehe

But he is working - think they have a load of Skylines in today...

What's with the 04:55 post? Don't you sleep or are you the Stig.

My car's also smelling rich out the exhaust so will try and get CO checked at Barnet next Friday as other than that my car's fine.

Charlie is great.

I went to him with a group of 3 TVRs and he certainly knows of what he speaks.

He even suggested some things I could do to improve my cars output, but gave it a clean bill of health. Quite good for a nearly 30 year old 280i.

I'm considering taking my every day drive to him at somepoint, just to be sure its running 100%.

Worth every penny IMHO.

I have used Power, about, err, 15 years ago. Vaguely remember them not identifying the fault correctly, but it was a while ago.
Have since been to Charlie at Surrey (about a year ago, and quite impressed).
Are Austec still in business?

Hi,

I used Torque of the Devil inconjunction with Mark Adams in Feb this year.
Good service, they took a lot of care with my Griff and I got some good results.
Definetly need a set of cans on when the RV8 is on full chat.

TVR Power?

Sorted mine last week OK, and extracted 388BHP at wheels.
