Just wanted to say, what a good venue the Ace cafe is
for a meet.Good bar and food.Get the feeling they may need a bigger car park in the summer.

Hi Mark (Big ock)
Notice you live in Herts. Me and some of the boys meet at the Fudge bar between StAlbans & Redborn for a quick sausage roll and pint every other Friday. If you live this side of Herts pop in, we are meeting this Friday.

Glad you enjoyed the venue Mark, I liked it so much I decided to arrange the monthly meet there so its good to get your support. Sorry I wasnt around to say hello last Friday as I was away for New Year week.

Looking forward to Februarys meet, hope you can make it along then. Come the summer if all goes according to plan then yes, I can see us having to park out on the street when the car park gets full. We will be looking to organise other events as well if people fancy it. Watch out for the Ace Cafe TVR T-shirts coming soon hopefully !

Regards,

Matt

We might have been brave enough to have the roof down on the way there (Paris Blue Chim)...but on the way home it was most definitely on! See you all at the next meet.

I thinik you are all a bit mad, it was cold enough to freeze monkeys and brass balls apart! Roof was on, coat wasnt warm enough....but fortunately inside was warm, coffee was good, and everyone was very friendly and chatty so I didn't care about the weather

See you there next month!

Not on the two TVR meeting nights that I've been there.

Just a carpark full of TVRs.

Matt was given the option of "sharing" with the Ali G patrol - but strangely he declined for an 'exclusive' TVR night - though last Friday we had two old Minis with interesting headlights and triplet Scoobies (Sorry, meant to say Imprezas but got caught up in the lingo - respekt etc, easy now and all dat)

Thanks chaps, i think that Diane & I may give it a go, but as we live Quite a distant away, we may leave it until the lighter nights.

That was really a good line-up on 2 January...I liked in particular how the parking attendant chased away those EVOs or WRXs or whatever they were, when they tried to take the "good" parking lots (meaning the ones between the main road and the cafe)... LOVELY!!!
