5 ltr head needed

Well as the title says has any one got a single head for a 5 litre. I was searching for the source of a miss fire when the engine was cold and traced it to very small split in the head behind the inlet valve. This was letting a tiny amount of water in which was getting on the plug at start up. The head had been welded on all the ports this had been done at the factory as they owned the car before me!!! The split was on the edge of a weld. The other head is as should be lovely porting job mint condition so i could do with just one if any has one under the bench let me know cheers Jason

The valves in those heads are the smaller ones basicly recut standard seats with a touch of porting, the TVR heads have extra large valve seats fitted to them and the largest valves that fit in a rover head cheers Jason

Hi Clare spoke to power they only have a pair at 1k plus vat .V8 Developments may have one at more sensible money i need to send them my old head for a match. The car is still as mint as ever.I have taken up racing karts so hardly use the car , it had a little missfire when cold that ended up being a tiny crack in the head this took a lot of finding as i was tracing an electrical injector fault, when warm the fault went once the damp went from the plug. I will do you a swap for your sag but you would have to get me in a good mood LOL cheers Jason

Hi All, well as the engine is in bits I am going to change the cam, I have been looking at the v8 dev stelth or the power cam for the 5 litre any recomendations for ither??
